Julie Chen Moonves hosts the popular summer reality show Big Brother, which returned for the 22nd season on the 5th of August on CBS.Chen Moonves was one The original hosts of the Daytime Emmy Award-winning Talk show The Talk, serving as moderator and host from the year 2010 to 2018. Her true passion was when she started writing, and was awarded an Emmy. She also won an Emmy for hosting an exceptional entertainment talk show. Her background in news helped her make the transition from The Talk, which examines the latest news and current issues through the eyes of five female hosts.Chen Moonves was co-host on CBS News' weekday morning show The Early Show from 2002 until 2010. Before that she was the CBS Morning News anchor and hosts on The Early Show. She was dispatched to Cairo following the 9/11 attacks and gave an intense and thrilling conversation with the father of 9/11's main terrorist who took over the world. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news programme, profiling celebrities like Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves has also worked at the network's New York City station WCBS as a reporter, anchor, and producer (1997-1999). Prior to joining CBS News at the beginning of 1995 Chen Moonves had been as a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton. Previous jobs included working as a reporter with ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news channel (1992-1995) and as a desk-assistant in ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991) and all the while finishing her last year of college from The University of Southern California. Her first job was as an assistant at ABC News, working on the late-night program Nightline together with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still one of Moonves' journalism heroes. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel in the production of the award-winning Columbia du-Pont program Anatomy of a Riot which focussed on those who were involved in the Los Angeles riots of '92.
